Why it's good to have a business analyst

The business analyst can bring structure & formalisation of requirements into its process. Increasing foresight or 'long-sighted' goals among Business Owners.

A Business Analyst should not just be the 'man in the middle' but it should help business owners & developers to streamline the 'long term' goals.

Project managers will include business analyst to break down the communication barriers between stakeholders and developers.

The business analyst definition: An internal consultancy role that has responsibility for investigating business systems, identifying options for improving business systems and bridging the needs of the business with the use of IT.
